- Description: on saturday the washer was making a odd noise and it smelled like a bit of burning when it would try to run a wash cycle. we checked underneath and there was a piece of clothing wrapped around the motor. we managed to get the piece of clothing off and everything seemed fine afterwards. however now the washer will try to go through a full wash cycle but can’t. when it gets to the spinning cycle the washer will shut off completely.
